 SAIGE Youth Track 2022

Welcome to the SAIGE Virtual Student Youth Track! We are excited to offer students a unique opportunity to hear from some of Indian Country’s most influential people.

By participating in the SAIGE Student Track, you will:

  • Hear from former SAIGE Students whose lives took a new direction after attending

  • Get information from native professionals about how you can work for your communities to promote safety and well-being

  • Listen to federal officials who can introduce you to opportunities and the many career paths in their agencies

  • Meet other indigenous students from all over the country and from different tribal communities

  • Learn about various disciplines needed for jobs in public service

  • Find out about the unique relationship that exists between the government and tribal nations

The Society of American Indian Government Employees believes that by supporting indigenous scholars they are planting seeds for the future of tribes. SAIGE offers this Program at no cost for Native students from Tribal and mainstream colleges, universities, high schools, and middle schools.

SAIGE Youth Track Encourages
Native American Youth to

Realize their potential to become leaders in their communities and schools
Continue their education by obtaining a college degree
Ultimately, to seek a career in the government sector in one of the multitudes of civil service professions.
