Mr. Whiterock is a Military Dependent and Former Chapter 3, Post 9/11 Fry Recipient who graduated from Northern Arizona University (NAU), Brandon worked with NAU's Veteran Success Center as Vet Jack Resource Navigator for two years while receiving his undergrad. He now works for NAU's Veteran Success Center as a School Certifying Official and Academic Program Coordinator.
Mr. Whiterock is a motivational speaker who has spoken at numerous middle and high schools across the country about his time growing up in the military culture and taught students to believe in themselves no matter the circumstances life throws at you.
Mr. Whiterock is a graduate of Northern Arizona University with a Bachelor of Science in Exercise Physiology, and the winner of 2022 NAU Gold AXE Recipient
Mr. Whiterock is the son of Lori Piestewa (Piece-ta-wa), the first American Indian woman who died in combat while serving in the U.S. military and the first woman in the U.S. military killed in the Iraq War.
