Lois Tuttle is an Equal Opportunity Specialist in the USDA’s National Institute of Food and Agriculture (NIFA)’s Office of the Director, Equal Opportunity Staff. She is responsible for evaluating, reviewing, and monitoring NIFA’s financially assisted research, education, and extension programs for compliance with federal civil rights requirements, and serves as NIFA’s designated language access contact. Lois has over 19 years of federal experience serving in human resources, compliance, equal employment opportunity, and legal support roles at different agencies, including the Social Security Administration; the USDA’s Agricultural Marketing Service; the Census Bureau; and the Department of Justice’s Environmental Crimes Section.
